The beginning of the fall air was setting upon the grounds outside Hogwarts. A older year boy was making his way down towards the lake slowly. In such nice outside air it would have been stupid of him to stay inside the castle. He noticed as he passed there were groups of other people who had obviously thought the same as he. Most were reading books or talking with friends. Some of the younger students were playing games across the grass. Leon today just wanted a nice walk along the lake while he was taking in the coming fall air. The breeze of the early morning was wonderful. This was what he had used to look forward to all summer long as a child the breeze of the fall.
Once down at the lake there were fewer students. While some enjoyed coming down to the lake there were others who didn't. Leon himself loved the lake the beautiful landscape around it and beyond it was amazing in his opinion. Why anyone wouldn't want to look at this, he thought was crazy. He began his walk along the lake taking a look at everything amongst the ground.

Juliet was sitting in the great hall looking up at the celling. It was showing that it was a clear day outside, with little wind. It was just the type of day that she liked. She grabbed her jacket off the bench next to her, and got up and left the room. She headed out the double doors and on to the lawns. Juliet wasn’t sure why she liked the weather so much, it could’ve been because it was because it wasn’t too hot or too cold. Or it could’ve been because she could see the whole sky and it looked so endless.
Endless was something that she wished her time at Hogwarts would be. She was in her final year at the school, and still had no idea what she wanted to be. Well she had ideas but she wasn’t totally sure on any of them. She just wished she had more time at the school to figure it out.
While she was thinking about what she wanted to do with the rest of her life, she walked the grounds not quite sure where she was going; she just wanted to be outside. As soon as she quite thinking about her future she realized she had walked quite a ways from the castle. She looked at her surroundings and figured out that she was by the lake. ”What a great place to think.” She said aloud not seeing anyone else around her.

Leon took a look around when he heard someone speak. He saw a girl who had come down here. A Slytherin girl had just come down. She was in his year, Juliet he believed her name was. He walked a little farther but closer to her. He smiled, "nice day to think as well," he told her. He should have known better than to talk to a Slytherin but he shook off that thought.
He glanced over at her they'd had classes together over the years. He didn't know much about her just about her house, everyone in Slytherin was really rude to muggleborns such as himself and they always knew who was. This was the usual judgment of Slytherin most had. Leon decided to chance it today though. It was wrong to judge a book by it's cover and he knew that each Slytherin still could be different. Not that he had high hopes of it though.

Juliet pretty much jumped when she heard someone speak behind her. She was a little surprised, because she had just looked around and didn’t see anyone. She turned to see who it was. At first she didn’t recognize the guy, but after a second of looking at him she figured out that he was a Hufflepuff from her year. She couldn’t quite remember his name but she knew he was a mudblood. She looked around and didn’t see anyone else so she decided to talk to him.
”Yes it is.” She figured that she could be nice to the guy, since there was no one else around. She stood there for a couple of moments trying to remember the guys name. ”Oh, I’m so sorry but I can’t remember your name.” She hoped that the guy wouldn’t be to upset, after all she was a Slytherin and they tended not to associate with hufflepuffs, let alone mudbloods.

Leon looked at her and could already tell she had picked him out for who he was. "I'm Leon," he told her, "Juliet right?" he asked making sure. Imagine calling someone who hated you for who you were to begin with by the wrong name. He just want to make sure he had gotten it right.
He glanced around and noticed she done the same to make sure talking to him would be okay. "I guess I'm not someone who you would want to remember," he noted. He wasn't offended or anything, it was who they were. Why would they need to know a muggleborn's name anyways, unless it was to pick upon them constantly. He smiled, "there's a few people down here today, but most are up close to the Quidditch pitch," he noted. She opposed him on the Slytherin Quidditch team as well and that was something that he thought she might have known his name.

Juliet nodded her head when she heard him tell her his name. ”That’s right.” She said to herself. ”Yes, I’m Juliet.” she answered him. She figured he knew who she was. There weren’t many people in the school, who didn’t know who she was, and it wasn’t because of being a Slytherin, it was because of her sister. She figured that this guy knew who she was from classes and not because of what happened with her sister.
”No, you aren’t and it’s for more reason than one. Sure you are a Hufflepuff and a muggle born, but you are also on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team and if my teammates saw me talking to you they might think I was giving you information.” She felt a little weird explaining herself to him. That was something that she didn’t do to anyone but her parents. ”Thanks.” She said to him for telling her where the people were at.

"Ah Quidditch secrets," Leon grinned. "I guess I need to make myself more of a person to remember don't I, since there's so many different reasons," he told her. He looked over at her and sighed. "So you really mind talking to a muggleborn Hufflepuff chaser?" he asked. That was the reason he told her where most people were. He didn't want her to actually be ashamed to speak to him. He was still a student just as she here at Hogwarts and still a person.
He then glanced back at the lake and looked. "Beautiful setting isn't it, just like the farm, you'll always love it," he said. He liked to compare things to his family farm. He loved the home he grew up in and would mention it when he could. He turned back, "you should always have something you can compare a landscape to, a place where your set in stone, that's what my mum had always taught me growing up," he smiled.

”May be you do.” Juliet said to him, with a slight laugh. She wasn’t quite sure why she laughed. ”No I don’t mind. After all we are in the same year, so people might just think we are talking about classes. They don’t really have to know what we talk about.” She said to him. It was true she didn’t really care who she talked about, because no one really knew what she talked about with the other person, but the other person.
Juliet followed his eyes, when she saw him look back at the lake. ”Yes, yes it is. I love coming here and just looking at it. The lake always calms me down no matter what.” She said to him. She listened to him tell her what his mom always said. ”I’ve never heard that before.” Juliet said with a smile. If that was the case well Juliet had the perfect spot to compare the lake to, a rose garden on her family’s property. It was her favorite spot to hang out when she was home.

Leon looked at her and smiled, "Well I'm glad you see it that way," he smiled he moved to her side and watched the lake scenery again. "Mum always said, if you have that one place you can compare all others to, you always be in your place, most people have never heard of it so I can blame you, but it's nice to think of when you have heard it," he smiled, "whenever I look at scenes like this I know I'm feeling like I'm back home at the farm." He looked at her, "I guess you could call it a little bit of muggle magic," he smiled.
"I feel like I'm in my little home away from home," he told her. He picked up a nice flat rock and tossed at the waters edge making it only skip twice and then looked back at her. "I can tell you found your spot already, some people have to take the time to think of it, but others know right away, you're one of the latter," he smiled. "Parents have a good insight, just like dad always told me to make sure to take care of family as family always will have your back," he told her.
"I miss home during the school year and then when I'm home I miss school, but this'll be our last year here, and then the lake may become my new landscape to compare all others," he told her, "when you miss a place enough you never forget what it looks like."

Juliet watched him move next to her. She was tempted to back away from him but she was trying to be nice, so she didn’t. ”It is nice to think about. I will remember it.” She said to him. Whoever his mother was, was a smart person. When she heard him call it Muggle magic, she almost made a puking motion, but she figured that would be too much. She still couldn’t believe that Muggles had been allowed into Hogwarts. Whoever thought that was a good idea was seriously wrong. She was really glad that those muggles weren’t allowed in her house. She knew that they wouldn’t make it, no matter how much they were like Slytherin.
Yeah, my spot when I’m not here is a Rose Garden on my family’s property. It is the most beautiful site I have ever seen, and it is a nice place just to go relax and to think.” She said to him. She was actually surprised that she had said that because she never, ever told anyone that before, not even her parents. Juliet nodded her head when he said to always take care of family. ”That is very true.” Until her sister’s death she had always taken care of the girl, no matter what.
” I’m the same way.” She said to him. ”That’s why I’m sad that this is our last year. I won’t have coming back here to look forward to next year.” She added as she watched a bird fly down and claw at the lake.
