Leon smiled and looked over at her. "Roses are beautiful," he commented, "my parents have always been farmers and always will, my brothers have to look forward to that as well, well my eldest he's already been taking part," he smiled. He realized he was kind of rambling about things a person who did not grow up as a muggle would want to hear. "Sorry, when I get thinking of home I get extremely happy," he told her.
"Even though I'm a muggleborn this year is definetly strange, I live around muggles on a day to day basis but having them here is just odd, they can't do much, no magic in their veins I'm kind of wondering how it will be the day term starts and they're in some of our own classes, my brother's one of them and I worry about him here, with no magical protection" he said softly. He was confused when he had gotten the Daily Prophet during the summer and what it had read but he was okay with muggles being here but still he wasn't sure how it was going to work one bit. He was a technical person, he liked to know how things worked but this he was clueless on.

Juliet continued looking at the lake. ”They are, and we have almost every color of them in the Garden, so no matter where you go you see a different color or type.” She said about the roses. She loved the garden for that reason. ”So I take it your brothers are Muggles. She felt really weird saying that. She had never had a conversation with a muggleborn, and it was weird. She never imagined that a muggleborn could be this interesting to talk to. ”It’s fine. She said about him talking about home.
”I have no idea how this term is going to go. I for one am not looking forward to it. I’m just glad that they can’t live in my house. They wouldn’t stand a chance.” She knew she sounded a little rude saying that but it was true. No Muggle child could stand the house of Slytherin. ”The best that you can do is look out for him. And pray that he doesn’t get hurt.” She told the Hufflepuff. She didn’t care if she was a Slytherin when it came to younger siblings she was one to care no matter the blood status.

Leon nodded at her question, "yes they are, Jacob lives back home with mum and dad and Jonathan is here as one of the first muggle students," he told her, "no sisters just us boys, good for farm work though," he smiled. Then she mentioned the fact that she was glad a muggle couldn't be in her house. "Well I doubt a muggle would want to be in Slytherin to begin with," he told her trying to sound rude but it came more out as factual than anything else.
"My brother's very physical, he'll stick up for himself, I just still worry though," he said softly. He thought of Jonathan who always put up a fight against a bully. "No magic in his veins at all here worries me, but I plan to show him the ropes and hope he figures it out," he told her. He then thought of his brother whom he hadn't seen all day. "Speaking of him I kind of wonder where he's been," he said allowed not even realizing it.

Juliet looked at him before saying ”So is Jacob, older than eleven?” She figured the answer was a yes, because he had only said that Jonathan was here at Hogwarts. She felt a little jealous because he had a younger sibling to look after. ”Well at least your parents have help around the farm with having three boys.” When she heard him say something about Muggles not wanting to be in Slytherin, she couldn’t help but say ”You would be surprised how many want in the House of Slytherin. They all think that they can handle anything that would be thrown at them by their housemates. But they are dead wrong.”
Juliet listened to him talk about his brother, ”Just because he is a physical person doesn’t mean he can stand up to a curse or something.” She said to Leon, she wasn’t trying to worry him but she felt the need to say it. ”Hopefully showing him the ropes will be enough. I have no idea. He might be hanging out with his house mates.” She said to him. Once she finished talking she looked back at the lake.

"Jacob's twenty-four," Leon told her with a smile and then chuckled at what she said, "yeah that's true we were all pretty good help." He then glanced at her, "well I won't take any offer if it was ever offered to join Slytherin, and I do have magic in my veins," he smiled softly, "no offense to your house," he added. He then nodded, "oh that I know, that's one reason I wish they didn't allow full blooded muggles here, they need some type of protection," he said softly. He had to agree with alot of the students that didn't want the muggles here. His was for his brothers protection though.
He glanced at her when she mentioned, "true, I skipped breakfast this morning so he might be somewhere up there," he said softly. "Hey say you were born a muggle, do you think you would still have magic in your veins, or do you think it's all based upon the family, my mum told me that she thinks we had a witch in the family after she found out about me, but only one and it was a long time ago, and she married like my great-great-great grandfather or something like that," he said. He wondered if purebloods had ever thought of that.

”Well I guess that is a little bit older than 24.” Juliet said to him. She was surprised about that age difference between Leon’s older brother and his younger one. She figured it was just because that way they could have some one always helping out on the farm. She wasn’t going to ask the question because it wasn’t her family to know about. ”Most people don’t like my house so I take no offense. I’m used to people talking bad about it. I know, they don’t think that the muggles will get hurt by wizards and magic. I have a feeling that the first big accident that happens they will kick the muggles out.” Or at least that’s what she was hoping they would do. She didn’t want the Muggles here and she knew every other witch and wizard wanted the same thing, no matter how much they like muggle borns.
”that could be it exactly.” She said about his brother. When she heard him ask the question she looked at him kind of funny. She had never thought about that before. After taking a few minutes to think about her answer she finally said. ”I think that it has to do with your family. I don’t think you can be born a muggle born and not have magic in your veins at all. I don’t think there are any full born Muggles that could have magic in their veins, it’s just not possible” She answered him.

Leon looked at her. "Thirteen years between Jacob and Jonathan, my parents split us up," he chuckled, "but we always had someone to look out for us also." He looked at her, "when Jonathan was younger he almost drowned looking for dad but I found him and got him out in time, that's one nice thing of being so split," he smiled.
He then sighed, "I hope that accident isn't my brother though," he said nodding in agreement. "But see they don't say anything like that, I mean there's muggleborns here who don't know of any magic in their veins," he told her, "I just wonder though." He did wonder about things like that all the time.

"That is a good thing." Juliet said to him about having such a big age difference between his youngest and oldest. "having some one to look after you is always a very good things. It means that if you ever need someone to talk to about something you have one." Juliet was starting to get a sad. She needed to stop talking about siblings. She really missed her sister.
"I don't think that your brother will be the one attacked. But if he is, you can come to me to talk to about it. My sister was attacked in her first year." She knew that she was begin really un-Slytherin by saying that she would help him. "They might not know that they have Magical blood in their family because it had been a long time since they had, had any magic show." She said to him.

Leon looked at her and sighed. "Your sister, what happened?" he asked, "if you don't mind me asking?" he added quickly. He couldn't believe that anyone could actually attack someone here at the school. He pretty much ignored the last bit that she said with nothing more than a nod about she said.
He looked over at her and sighed, "Hogwarts has definitely had its share of bad things happen here hasn't it?" he asked thinking about it. He looked at her and wondered if what happened to her sister was bad. He wasn't sure if she was older or younger than Juliet, but either way he didn't know much of things that happened here at Hogwarts, at least didn't pay attention to them.

As soon as she had mentioned her sister, Juliet knew that he would ask. Most people didn’t know that Rylie was her sister, and that she had been killed at school. The Headmaster had decided that it would be better to punish the students without everyone finding out what had happened. Juliet was a little scared to tell the story. She hadn’t ever told it to anyone other than family and friends. But she felt like she could trust this guy and that he wouldn’t tell anyone. She looked around to see if anyone was by them, and once she was sure that there was no one else around she started telling the story.
”It was in our fifth year.” She started with hoping he understood she was talking about him and her. ”My sister had been stored into Gryffindor at the Sorting ceremony, and a couple of my house mates where mad about it, because to them she was a blood traitor because she was having fun in the Gryffindor house and enjoying herself. Well those Slytherins decided that they wanted to make her not have so much fun, so they came up with a plan to hurt her.” Juliet had to stop there for a second and catch her breath because she was talking so fast. ”Well instead of hurting her they ended up killing her. See what they didn’t know was that she didn’t have a strong enough body to deal with all the stunning spells they threw at her, until it was too late. I was the one who found her and I tried to help her but I didn’t know how” Juliet stopped there. She had told the story and hoped he wouldn’t ask any more questions about it. If she had to say anything else she might start crying. And that was something she didn’t want to do in front of a muggleborn.
When Juliet heard him say that Hogwarts had it’s fair share of bad things. All she had to do was nod her head. He was right Hogwarts had, had problems in the past. She had learned about them her whole life. She hoped that nothing bad would happen to the school again. She didn’t think that it could take much more abuse.
