Juliet was sitting in the common room bored. There was no one to talk to and no first years to pick on. Which was kind of strange, but she didn’t think about it for too long. She went up to her dorm to try and figure out something to do. She looked through her trunk and saw her Quidditch robes. I guess I could go to the Quidditch Pitch. She decided. She grabbed everything that she needed, which was her jacket, goggles, and her broom. Once she had all of that she headed out of her dorm and out of the common room. When she opened the door of the Common room she ran into a little first year. ”Get out of my way.” She growled to the first year making her jump out of the way.
Once the girl was out of her way she made her way to the Quidditch pitch. She almost ran into a couple different students but once they saw that she wasn’t going to move, they got out of her way. After a few minutes she finally made her way to the Quidditch Pitch. Once there she mounted her broom and flew up into the air. She loved flying much more than anything else. It was her way to escape when she couldn’t find anything else. She was so in tune with flying that she didn’t see anyone else come on to the pitch.

Alec wandered around the castle for what seemed like forever; he had woken up early, a habit he got from Alice, and he couldn't find anything to do. Currently, he was walking outside, near the Forbidden Forest. He contemplated going in there, just because he thought it'd be a nice change from the loudness and annoyances known as the other students. As he walked around, he spotted the quidditch field, a place where he would normally be, should he have nothing to do. Deciding to stick with his normality, he headed towards the pitch, only to find someone flying already. By the looks of it, she was a Slytherin, of his own house. The Slytherin female looked familiar to him, though he couldn't place it being on the ground.
"Accio Firebolt" he summoned his broom over. Once it touched the palm of his hand, however, me took off, not even bothering to mount it first. He didn't need to, flying was one of his greatest strengths, as well as dueling and offensive spells, which was included in dueling. He flew over towards the girl, stopping abruptly but not messing up; he recognized her as a chaser on the quidditch team.
"Juliet, right?" he called out, an eyebrow raised and his trademark smirk/grin on his face. She was definitely a chaser, and he had to hand it to her; she was good at it. Though, she wouldn't be on the team otherwise. He flew closer, so he wouldn't have to be half as loud as the nuisances he knew as the younger students of Hogwarts. "So, what brings you out here, on this fine day to be talking with some friends?" he asked, his trademark expression on, one of his eyebrows raised.

Juliet was so surprised when she heard someone say her name that she almost fell off her broom. Luckily though she held on and straightened herself out so she didn’t fall. ”Yes, and your Alec right?” She knew they were on the Quidditch team together but she didn’t really talk to him, at practice. She was usually busy trying to shape the rest of her Chaser’s in shape. She was surprised that they had made it on to the team, with the skills that they possessed, or lack thereof actually.
Juliet had to think about her answer to the question for a minute. She really didn’t know what had brought her outside. ”I think I was just bored and I knew that flying would make me less bored. I wasn’t exactly thinking I would run into anyone. Not that I mind or anything. I just wasn’t expecting anyone else to be flying today.” She knew she was being a little too nice, but she figured it was the right thing to do, after all they had to work together on a team, and where housemates.
”So I told you what I was doing out here. What are you doing.” She figured she should ask the same question. If he wanted to know what she was doing out here, she was going to find out the same thing. While she waited for a reply, she did a couple of loops, being really careful to not fall of her broom.

Alec raised an eyebrow as Juliet seemed to almost fall off her broom. Though he was ready to catch her should she have fell. Luckily though, she managed her hold on her broom and straightened up. "Yeah, and sorry if I startled you; didn't mean it." It was true, he hadn't meant to startle to chaser; just let her know he was there too. Though, in retrospect, she did seem to be in her own little world. Alec shook his head slightly, a small smirk on his face; it was like him to realize the fact after; unlike how Alice would've figured it out by the time she was on the ground, looking up at the flyer.
Alec chuckled, he would have never expected the chaser to be flying out of boredom. He thought she would have been out practicing or something similar; but turns out his guess was off. "Ah. Boredom seems to be the answer to many things. Don't you agree?" it wasn't as if he was mocking her or anything; but that was the answer a lot when you asked a Hogwarts student why they were doing something. They'd just usually shrug and say, "I dunno, bored I guess."
"Guess you can say the same thing; though I normally come here should I have nothing else to do but think." he replied nonchalantly. True, he had gone there to just fly and give himself something to do, but he never thought he'd meet Juliet either. "So, how do you think the chasers are going to be this year?" he called out, seeing as classes officially started the next day. That meant tryouts were soon; though he was certain there was no one else in the Slytherin house that could beat his Seeker abilities. Call it arrogance, but Alec knew he had the talent, speed, and reflexes for it; and many others knew too.

Juliet looked at him and said ”It’s fine. I’m easily startled when I’m flying for fun. Since it’s not a game, I don’t usually pay that much attention. Although I should start.” She said with a little laugh. She knew that it was a danger to not pay attention when flying from all of her games of Quidditch, she had got hit with a Bludger on many occasions, but it was never bad to keep her from playing the game. Although had she just fallen off her broom from not paying attention it might have been the end of her Quidditch playing games.
She chuckled a little when she heard him say that boredom is the reason for a lot of things. ”I do agree. People do the most random things when they are bored. It is sometimes funny to see the stuff people do.” She said remembering a time her and a group of Slytherins who were bored decided to see who could catch and mark the most first year students with a snake on their leg. They had almost got in trouble for it but no one would tell the teachers who had marked them. That was the best day ever.
[/b] She thought to her self. Juliet nodded her head when she heard him say that he only came up here when he was bored to. She was happy that she wasn’t the only one. Juliet laughed a little more when he asked about the chasers. ”I doubt they are going to be any good the first couple of days. Most of them haven’t played in an actually Quidditch game before, they all played with their friends and family. So they have no idea how to practice and what to do. Sure they are good but they aren’t great.” she said answering the question. If the chasers ended up doing well she would be happy, because it meant that she didn’t have to do everything for them. Alec chuckled softly, "Happens to a lot of people, when they're doing something for the fun of it, huh?" his thoughts turned towards his flying experiences; never once had he ever lost control of or almost lost grip on his broom; it just never seemed to happen. However, when he seemed to be doing something else, like reading a book or something, he knew the feeling. However, his reaction was one that involved a wand and a scream. He was pretty sure that's how he'd react should he get lost in his thoughts when he was flying. His wand in his hand, pointed at the heart of the person who startled him, a hex on the tip of his tongue.
"Yeah; sometimes though, you can't help but wonder what they were thinking, right?" He was thinking of a time when he was in his first year. Some people had decided they thought it'd be funny if they hexed the doors of the Great Hall to catch the first person through and turn them into a skunk. Still, after five years, Alec couldn't help but shake his head at it; surely they'd know a professor was the first one in, to keep an eye on the early birds. The result was comical though, a red faced professor with trembling third years under their gaze.
He nodded slightly, it was true that many players weren't great, but they were good enough to make the team. The chasers had some people who didn't know the rules, but then again, so did the beaters. Alec, he's been playing with the rules since he could remember. "Then I guess it's up to you to shape them into the Slytherin chasers, huh? Wouldn't want to look bad, right?" he smirked slightly. If there were to be new people trying out this year, then a lot of work needed to be done, especially to determine their abilities. Juliet would probably keep her position as chaser; it was a given, she had the skill.
"Hm, who knows this year; maybe there'll be some good chasers out there trying out. It is a new year, after all." he looked up at the sky nonchalantly though; whether they be old or new, Alec knew they had to have good enough skill to be on the team. But they'd have to work hard to make themselves even better; and sometimes, quidditch practice was very difficult to get through. 'A new year, and maybe some skilled players will come along with it; though I highly doubt that.' he chuckled in thought slightly.

Juliet nodded her head when she heard Alec say that people often got startled when doing something for fun. ”Yeah it does seem to happen to people a lot. I know for me it doesn’t always happen when I’m flying. I could be reading a book or writing and get startles if someone comes up next to me and starts talking, without me expecting it.” She said to him as she flew around in circles. She hoped that Alec didn’t think that she was trying to fly away from him she just liked flying and she couldn’t stay still when she was on her broom.
”That is right.” She really couldn’t help but think about all the pranks that people had done when they were bored. ”What was one thing that you did when you were really bored?” She questioned wondering what he did. She knew most Slytherins tended to pick on other students when they were bored, herself included.
”You guessed right on that one.” Juliet said to him. She would show the Chasers what to do and if they didn’t follow what she did she would kick their butts until they did what she said. She may not be the captain of the team but she was the Chaser that had been on the team the longest. ”I hope there is some better chasers this year. We could really use some. I don’t want to lose a game because our Chasers weren’t that good.” She added to him. She then flew around and did a few more circles.

Alec chuckled and nodded, as he thought of that was something Alice would be doing if she were to be startled by anything. She'd most likely be too into the book, or her studies, to notice anyone else around her. "Ah, something my baby sister would do." Briefly he wondered if Juliet knew he and Alice were twins, seeing as she was a year above them. Shaking the thought from his head, he smirked as he watched her fly circles; he certainly hadn't come there just to sit on his broom.
When she asked about something he did when he was bored, Alec shrugged. He hadn't done many exciting things when he was bored, just hex a few students in the lower years; or maybe just find a way to get into trouble. "Eh, I've done plenty, though I'm sure that's not the answer you prefer." he chuckled. "Let's see, I've hexed a few students, just to see how they'd react. Quite amusing, actually." he chuckled again as he thought of the lower years dropping their stuff screaming, before running off towards the hospital wing. Their friends running after them trying to figure out who did it. Very few figured it was him, but when those few did, they trembled and followed their friend, away from the Slytherin.
He nodded in agreement as she spoke about hoping to have good chasers this year. "I concur; though I think we may need a few better beaters as well; some that can take a hit and give a hit" he said, as he thought about some of the previous beaters the teams had. It wasn't just Slytherin luckily; but there were some beaters who couldn't take a hit, so they'd avoid the bludger as best they could. It was sad really; even if he was injured, Alec would still continue searching, and flying, after the snitch. "Well, I'm sure the captain won't let Slytherin fall into the same category as what the other houses call teams." That, he believed. Slytherin was going to win the Quidditch cup, and if they didn't, best believe it was the greatest season of Hogwarts history.

Juliet looked at Alec when she heard him say that he had a sister. She didn’t know that the Seeker had a sibling. She must not be in Slytherin. She thought to herself. She figured if his sister was a Slytherin she would know about her, but then again maybe not because she didn’t like associating with people in a lower year, even if it was just by one year. ”I didn’t know you had a sister. Who is she?” She questioned him. She figured he wouldn’t mind her asking since he had mentioned her. ”And how old is she, if she is your younger sister.” She added to him.
Juliet gave him a funny look when she heard him say that the only thing he had done was hex a few people. That seemed like something that a Slytherin would do on a daily basis not when they were bored. ”That doesn’t seem like something a Slytherin does when they are bored. That just seems like a regular everyday thing for us.” She told him, with a smile. She wanted him to know that she wasn’t trying to be mean with what she said, that’s why she smiled at him.
When she heard him say that they might need better beaters she nodded her head. ”I agree with that. I have got hit so many times with Bludgers because our Beaters don’t know what they are doing.” She said to him. ”I hope not, otherwise I might have to hex our captain.” After she said something about the captain, it made her think. She had no idea who the captain was this year. ”Do you know who the captain is this year?” She questioned Alec hoping he would know.

Alec flew around, unable to just sit on his broom anyways. When Juliet asked about Alice, he smirked as he thought about his Ravenclaw sister. He was right, Juliet didn't know about Alice; either because she wasn't a Slytherin, or because she was in another year. "Alice, she's a Ravenclaw. Bloody brilliant she is." Everytime he had the chance, he'd always have to mention it; that his sister was one of the brightest in their year. When Juliet asked how old Alice was, Alec couldn't help but chuckle.
Of course, if she hadn't known about Alice, then she wouldn't think about them being twins, not many people where anyways. "She's five minutes younger. So do you have any siblings, Juliet?" He wasn't one to gossip; he only knew what people talked about. He was one to stay in the shadows until he had a conversation; so he hadn't really knew anything about many other things and other people. The things he did know were only through hearing others talk about it, otherwise he was in the dark about a lot of stuff.
When she commented on his activities during his boredom, Alec smirked and rolled his eyes. "Well, I never said that's all I do when I'm bored." He chuckled slightly; there were other things that he did when he was bored, he just chose not to mention them. He flew around a bit, before stopping and crossing his arm as he stood by one of the goals. He decided that instead of just flying around, perhaps they could play a game.
"Well, even if we don't I know I won't stand to let our team go down to that other level of those other teams." he stated when he heard her comment. When she asked about the captain, Alec paused, "I'm not sure yet; but I'm sure they'll keep the team on our toes. otherwise they wouldn't be captain, right?" He smirked and raised his eyebrow.
