She loves her life as it is. Before her parents spilt her mother was a psychologist and was under the belief that Hallie had Autisim and was the reason she couldn't connect to people but connected so well with animals. Their family cat was Hallies best friend as a child.

overall history, Born in Crete, Greece, Hallie grew up there. Her mother and father stayed together until she was five years old. They always fought and she hid when they did so. Angela didn't trust Adrian one bit. Once she had found out what he really was she couldn't stay with him. She felt betrayed. Adrian had come from one of the strongest lines of pureblood wizards in Greece and had already been looked down upon when he married a muggle, she was still Greek so they didn't mind as much.

Once her parents finally divorced Hallie stayed with her father. They knew she wasn't going to be a squib, she'd already showed the signs. So she was raised in her father's side of the family. She never had contact with her mother's side of the family. Once she was old enough to go to school she went to the magical school in nearby Turkey. She specialized in Magical Creature Care before she left the school and after leaving moved to Britain, where she got a job with the Department for the Regulation and Control of Magical Creatures' beast division. Once the Care of Magical Creatures job became open at Hogwarts she joined the staff. Now six years on the job she enjoys it very much working with everyone she possibly can.
