Alice smiled, "Well then, so long as they are not dangerous." with a slight laugh she tilted her head. "I'm sure we'll get along." she was positive, she'd get along with Leon's siblings; if they were much like him, then she'd be even happier. Like another Leon in her life, but she knew he probably wasn't. Maybe just some similarities. "So, Jonathan; what's he like anyways?"
Alice smiled softly, when he explained he knew how it worked. "If it were up to me, I'd say you still have a chance; but it's not up to me." she softly stated. She liked Leon, he was sweet and a gentleman. He knew so much about the muggle world, seeing as he lived there for ten years, and during the summers. That wasn't all though, Alice found herself compatible with the Hufflepuff.
Alec. He was her only solid constant in her life; the one she knew would always be there, who would support her no matter what. Despite the way he acts with some people, Alice could tell he truly tried to be kind, or even something similar, even if it didn't seem likt it. "Yeah. He's the only one I can go to; he's my other half." she smiled slightly. That was something so many people found disbelieving until they saw the two together. It was like they were a part of each other, instead of just two siblings born on the same day, only five minutes apart.
"Yes, and I'm glad I can still call you a friend too," for now anyways... she finished in her mind. She knew if she were to be committed to a jerk, he wouldn't approve of their friendship. Alice just hoped, that her future husband, whoever he was, would allow them to be friends. Leon didn't need to know that, however. Not now anyways.
"The Ravenclaw tower gives a better view of the distant scenery. Not one like this; where you can just see how things are, with no worry in the world. Like a painting." she explained. The Ravenclaw tower was high, it gave a better arial view than anything else of Hogwart's Grounds. It also gave a pretty nice view of the sky, but not as well as the Astronomy tower, she soon found out after the first few nights of her first year.

Leon smiled and thought of Jonathan. He smiled, "stubborn little thing, he likes to pick fights with people," he said softly, "he's also very sweet and ambitious," he told him. He looked at him, "he can also be easily frightened," he said softly. He loved his brother but that was about as much as he knew about him.
Leon smiled and moved over and kissed her forehead gently. "Forgive me for that, I just wanted to say I'd at least be able to say I kissed you once," he said quietly. He really wanted to be able to say that. He smiled and sat back in his chair across from her.
When she spoke of Alec she smiled and then spoke of him being her other half. "You love him as much as I love my brothers," he smiled. He liked hearing siblings close to other people. He moved and stood up. "Is there anything you want to do?" he asked. He nodded and smiled.
She spoke of Ravenclaw's Tower's view and how different it was from the libraries view. He smiled in the thought of her descriptions. "Well I can't say the same for the Hufflepuff common room," he said softly.

Alice smiled as Leon talked about Jonathan, his younger muggle brother. From the looks of it, he cared deeply for the Gryffindor. "I'm sure we'll get alone just fine." The more she thought about what Leon said about his brother the more she wanted to meet the youngest Kennedy. He seemed like the type of person she's be able to befriend anyways.
When Leon moved over, Alice didn't know what he was going to do; so when he kissed her forehead, she blushed and looked at her knotted hands, which lay in her lap. She couldn't find any words to say; part of her was happy, part of her was angry at herself, and another part of her sad. She was partially happy because she liked Leon, she, dare she say it, had a crush on him. Alice was angry at herself for not keeping away; especially when she knew she'd be committed to another in a years time. Finally, she was sad, because they just couldn't try. It wouldn't work out, seeing as her parents weren't exactly a muggle's best wizard friend.
When Leon talked about how he cared for his brothers as much as she cared for Alec, Alice smiled. "There is nothing like the love of a sibling, especially when your very close." It was true; if you were as close as the twins were, then there was nothing like the other; well, that's what it felt like to Alice. Leon then stood up, and Alice looked at him, eyes blinking questionably. "Oh. Perhaps we can take a walk? It is a very beautiful day out."
When he commented about not being able to say the same about the Hufflepuff common room, Alice smiled. "Well, what does make the Hufflepuff common room so special then?" She got up, just as Leon had done before, and began to stack her books together. "I think we should clean this up first; wouldn't want to trash the library on the first day, huh?" Alice giggled. That would be torture to her; wrecking one of her favorite spots at Hogwarts.

Leon looked at her and smiled. He looked at her and nodded but shook his head about the walk. "I think I should go, I crossed the line with that," he told her, "it is a nice day outside, but maybe another day." His ears were a bright pink. He wanted to stay here but he liked her maybe a little too much. Even for a short period time of knowing each other.
He shrugged at her Hufflepuff common room question. "Nothing really," he said softly and helped her stack her books together. "I'm sorry I couldn't help myself," he told her. That was one of those things his mother had always taught him, don't even try to take a woman who is emotionally taken. He ruined those lessons with one kiss.
He felt bad for what he did, "please forgive me for it," he said. He didn't meet eye contact with her anymore and just kept them down. He was sure she was angry with him even if she didn't let it pass out of her.

Alice was disappointed when he turned down her offer; but she understood why he had. The kiss, though it was only on her forehead, was the reason. It was more than just a friendly kiss, and for that reason alone, she avoided his eyes, as she was sure he was avoiding hers. Had she looked up she would've seen the cute way his ears would turn pink, which she would've figured out that it meant he was embarrased, or an emotion similar.
She nodded her head, absentmindedly, as he spoke of nothing making the Hufflepuff common room special. Surely there was something, but he didn't know it, seeing as he was in the house for seven years now. When he began to help her stack her books she smiled slightly, yet still avoided his eyes. "Thanks." she seemingly whispered. With a flick of her wand, the books wer floating back to where they were found, leaving the library in the nice, clean way it was before.
Leon then apologized again, and Alice finally turned towards him, but he avoided her eyes, keeping his gaze on the ground. She turned back and began to pack up her stuff, not saying anything, seeing as she couldn't find anything to say. He was apologizing for kissing her forehead, what could she say back? She already accepted his first apology; but she didn't know how to respond when he kept apologizing. Maybe he thought her silence meant anger? Or perhaps embarassment? Well, truth be told, it was a little of both; but Alice didn't mind.
Finally, after packing all her things in her bag, she turned back towards Leon, ready to leave. "I guess I'll see you in the DADA room after lunch." Instead of leaving, Alice walked towards him, she stopped, sure that he could see her shoes at least. Then, she leaned upward and kissed his cheek, "Your forgiven. Am I?" she whispered, before stepping back and walking away, not even waiting for an answer. 'I'll see you around Leon.' and with that thought in mind, she exited the library, a small smile on her face.

She had leaned up and kissed him on his cheek. He turned around as she walked out. Should he follow her, probably not. But he wished he did. He'd talk to her later in the day anyways. He slid down into the seat and shook his head. He nodded to forgive her for something he didn't even think she needed forgiven for.
He was embarrassed about what he had done. And he was pretty sure he had just ruined their relationship, even if she had forgiven and she kissed his cheek gently. He looked around and then slid his books into his bag and put his own books away and then left the library as well.
